What are we learning in 2/3

French - we are working on our autumn vocabulary. Writing short sentences. We are reviewing our Super Sons and will soon be starting our daily reading.
Language Arts- we are working on learning our alphabet sounds, starting with vowels. Writing short sentences.
Maths- We are finishing up with Number sense and numeration as we continue onto Patterning. Looking for patterns all around us, in our numbers, grille de 100, and geometry. What is a pattern? Can I make a growing and shrinking pattern? Can I describe my pattern using attributes?
Science- Water, Air, Soils: We will look at the characterstics of each and how we use them and see them in our environment. How can we conserve them? Experiments!
Social Studies- Traditions and Celebrations: Looking at our own families and our traditions, and then we go back in time and compare!
